Role Summary

Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Carolinas District

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing specialty sales team in the psychiatry/ CNS space within the Carolinas district.
  • Recruit, retain, and coach specialty sales representatives; provide leadership and mentorship to the team.
  • Drive goals and achieve above-average results through strategic planning and execution.
  • Maintain strong clinical and customer-centric approach in all interactions; communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills; adapt quickly to changing environments.
  • Demonstrate technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
  • Note: Candidates with fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
  • Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving history; ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Ability to secure and maintain credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and government entities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build positive relationships.
  • Analytical and business acumen; ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Must reside near a major airport within the district; experience in small company/start-up environments preferred.
