Role Summary
Neuroscience District Sales Manager (Psychiatry) - Carolinas District
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a specialty sales team focused on CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression products.
- Recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen; guide the team to achieve above-average results.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and stakeholders; maintain credentialing requirements as needed.
- Travel up to 75% as required to cover district responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
- Required: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry with 4 years of sales management experience; leadership experience or potential for Associate DSM.
- Preferred: Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression; other specialty experience considered.
- Required: Driverβs license and clean driving history.
- Required: Ability to secure and maintain credentialing for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and local/state government requirements.
- Required: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; ability to build relationships; excellent communication.
- Required: Demonstrated track record of sales and leadership performance.
- Required: Ability to work in an innovative, flexible environment; experience in small company/start-up settings.
Skills
- Excellent people management and mentoring skills; ability to coach specialty sales representatives.
- Clinical acumen with patient-centric and tactical approach; effective selling and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; read situations quickly and adapt to roadblocks.
- Technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree a plus.
