Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products per sales strategy in assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion direction.
- Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time) in territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete monitoring/reporting requirements (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
- Maintain full compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers/customer facilities and state/local governments.

Qualifications/Requirements
- BS/BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (may be considered for β€œAssociate” if not met).
- Preferred: atypical anti-psychotic and/or orphan drug experience; specialty experience in psychiatry/bipolar/depression/CNS or pain management.
- Preferred: reimbursement experience.
- Preferred: existing relationships (or within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in territory.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving history; must reside within territory geography.
- Ability to travel (may include overnights) and occasional out-of-territory travel; work hours may include meetings outside normal hours.
