Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction.
- Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use.
- Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and reimbursement knowledge.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.).
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete monitoring/reporting requirements (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers/customer facilities/government.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (may consider โ€œAssociateโ€ otherwise).
- Atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
- Preferred specialty experience: psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management.
- Reimbursement experience preferred.
- Existing relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in territory (or within 24 months) preferred.
- Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving history.
- Self-starter with proven above-average results; โ€œhunterโ€ mentality.
- Strong territory relationships/knowledge.
- Travel required (may include overnights); occasional meetings outside normal hours.
- Must reside within territory geography.

- Navigate complex markets; strong work ethic and organization; prioritize independently.
- Adjust quickly to roadblocks; customer-focused, self-motivated, computer proficient.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle; may require lifting/moving up to 15 lbs.
