Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy for product promotion.
- Analyze local market and develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in the territory.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time) within the territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete monitoring and reporting requirements (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
- Maintain full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Education & Experience Requirements
- BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience (preferred). Non-matching candidates may be considered for an “Associate” role.
- Atypical anti-psychotic and/or orphan drug experience (preferred).
- Specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management (preferred).
- Reimbursement experience (preferred).
- Existing relationships (or within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in the territory (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
- Must reside within territory geography; travel including overnights; occasional out-of-territory travel and meetings outside normal hours.

- Ability to lift/move up to 15 pounds (occasional).
