Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion direction.
- Analyze local market and develop/execute/monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time) within territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate persuasively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete monitoring and reporting requirements (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers/customer facilities.
- Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Education & Experience / Qualifications:
- BS/BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (may consider โ€œAssociateโ€ otherwise).
- Preferred: atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience; specialty experience in psychiatry/bipolar/depression/CNS or pain management; reimbursement experience.
- Preferred relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in assigned territory (or within 24 months).
- Valid driverโ€™s license; clean driving history.
- Must reside within territory geography; self-starter with goal/results orientation (โ€œhunterโ€ mentality).
- Travel required (including overnights); meetings may occur outside normal hours.

- Goal/results driven; highly clinical and patient-centric; strong interpersonal/verbal/written communication.
- Ability to navigate complex markets; organizational skills; manage multiple priorities; adjust quickly.
- Computer proficient; maintain ability to operate vehicle; may lift/move up to 15 lbs.
