Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion direction.
- Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competitive and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal allocation of resources (budgets, time) in territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete monitoring and reporting requirements (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers and facilities.
- Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (may be considered for “Associate” otherwise).
- Atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
- Specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management preferred.
- Reimbursement experience preferred.
- Existing relationships (or within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in assigned territory preferred.
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving history.

- Ability to travel (including overnights) and work occasional outside-hours meetings.
- Must reside within territory geography; may require lifting/moving up to 15 lbs.
