Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and promotion activities.
- Analyze local market and develop/execute/monitor performance to maximize product use.
- Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) in territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate persuasively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget; fulfill expense and call reporting requirements using approved systems.
- Maintain full compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
Education & Experience Requirements
- BS/BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (otherwise may be considered for โAssociateโ).
- Atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
- Specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management preferred.
- Reimbursement experience preferred; existing relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers (or within 24 months) preferred.
Skills/Qualifications
- Valid driverโs license; ability to travel (may include overnights); must reside within territory.
