Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the Neuroscience District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion strategy.
- Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) in territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate persuasively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete monitoring/reporting requirements (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
- Meet credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
- Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- BS or BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred; otherwise may be considered for an Associate role.
- Atypical anti-psychotic and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
- Specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management preferred.
- Reimbursement experience preferred.
- Existing relationships (or within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in assigned territory preferred.
- Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving history.
- Self-starter with proven track record of above-average results; โ€œhunterโ€ mentality.
- Strong territory relationships and knowledge preferred.
- Ability to travel (including overnights); out-of-territory travel to HQs/training/sales meetings may be required.
- Must reside within territory geography.

Performance/Role Skills:
- Clinical, patient-centric, tactical; excellent interpersonal/verbal/written communication.
- Ability to navigate complex markets/organizations; manage multiple priorities; read situations and adjust.
- Computer proficient; ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs occasionally.
