Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute and promote products per sales strategy in assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion direction.
- Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
- Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets/time) within territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget; complete monitoring/reporting (expenses/call reporting) using approved systems.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements; complete additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- BS/BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (may consider Associate otherwise).
- Preferred: atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience; psychiatry/bipolar/depression/CNS or pain management specialty experience; reimbursement experience; relationships with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers (or within 24 months).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
- Reside within territory geography; travel required (including overnights); work hours may include off-hours meetings.
