Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion direction.
- Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.).
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate persuasively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete required monitoring and reporting (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet healthcare provider credentialing requirements.
- Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Education & Experience / Requirements:
- BS/BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience preferred; may be considered for Associate role if not met.
- Preferred: atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience.
- Preferred specialty experience: psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management.
- Reimbursement experience preferred.
- Preferred relationships (within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in territory.
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving history.
- Self-starter with proven above-average results; β€œhunter” mentality.
- Strong territory knowledge/relationships.
- Ability to travel (including overnights); may work outside normal hours; must reside in territory geography.
- May lift/move up to 15 pounds.
