Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion direction.
- Analyze local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize product use in territory.
- Maintain current product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) in territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate effectively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete monitoring/reporting requirements (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
- Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
- Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements
- BS/BA with GPA > 3.0.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred (Associate role may be considered if not met).
- Atypical antipsychotic and/or orphan drug experience preferred.
- Specialty experience in psychiatry, bipolar, depression, CNS, or pain management preferred.
- Reimbursement experience preferred.
- Existing relationships (or within 24 months) with psychiatrists and/or Community Mental Health Centers in territory preferred.

- Self-starter; goal- and results-driven with a proven track record; โhunterโ mentality.
- Strong territory relationships/knowledge preferred.
- Ability to travel (including overnights); out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and sales meetings may be required.
- Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours.
- Must reside within territory geography.
- Valid driverโs license and clean driving history; operate vehicle as required.
- Lift/move items up to 15 lbs occasionally.
