Responsibilities:
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and key external contacts (HCP and office staff)
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing to current and potential customers
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product and patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions to meet unique needs and achieve sales targets
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Address external market challenges and collaborate with internal teams to drive sales strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and achieve shared objectives
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face interactions with top target customers)
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the geographical assignment
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales performance goals, reach objectives, and complete administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related field)
- At least 1 year full-time documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales strongly preferred
- Proven market accomplishments
- Strong interpersonal skills; written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology
- Knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing (preferred)
- New product launch experience (preferred)
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
Travel: Regular travel; may include weekend/overnight/air travel
Sales Specialist level: minimum 1 year; Executive Sales Specialist level: minimum 7 years
