Responsibilities (Essential):
- Build rapport and relationships with HCPs and entire office staff; understand needs and respond appropriately.
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing to current and potential customers.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage/grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions, using industry insights to differentiate and achieve sales targets.
- Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges and support cohesive sales strategies with internal teams.
- Work with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face with healthcare providers focusing on top targets).
- Use creative problem-solving to improve performance.
- Adhere to company compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals, reach objectives, and complete administrative duties.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree (preferably related field).
- At least 1 year full-time documented business-to-business sales (pharma sales strongly preferred).
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driverโs license with acceptable driving record.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Proven accomplishments in this market; strong interpersonal skills; written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing; new product launch; broad therapeutic area experience.
- Candidate level: Sales Specialist (min 1 year) or Executive Sales Specialist (min 7 years).
Travel: Regular; may include air travel and weekend/overnight travel.
