About The Role
This Regional Specialty Manager leads a sales team promoting life-changing treatments for people with serious neurological, endocrine and psychiatric disorders. Recruits and develops a diverse, high-performing team to exceed sales goals within an assigned region while managing key projects and collaborating with commercial cross-functional teams. Provides strategic direction, field coaching, and develops specialty pharmacy fulfillment access strategies. Requires strong relationship-building, communication, and ability to execute sales meetings.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Lead regional sales team by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
- Provide strategic direction and performance coaching; support onboarding
- Drive regional implementation of sales strategies to meet/exceed objectives
- Develop targeted strategies for psychiatric and neurological markets
- Identify regional opportunities; remove barriers to team success
- Analyze sales data and market trends; hold team accountable
- Spend time in field observing/coaching; provide regular feedback and development
- Manage regional budgets and expenses
- Ensure compliance with Neurocrine policies, FDA guidelines, and industry standards
- Maintain open communication between field teams and HQ
- Develop relationships with key opinion leaders/healthcare professionals; engage patient advocacy groups
- Coordinate with pharmacies and payers to optimize market access
- Align with marketing, training, sales operations, and other departments

Requirements
- BS/BA AND 8+ years biotech/pharma sales, including 3+ years first-line sales management (progressively responsible roles)
- OR Master’s preferred AND 6+ years
- OR PhD AND 4+ years
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving; strong communication; strong computer/technical skills
- Ability to lead through ambiguity; improve tools/processes; lead cross-functional teams
- Strong sales performance history; successful launch experience in complex/competitive environments
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environment; ethical standards; adaptable and entrepreneurial mindset
