About the Role:
Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products. Manages and develops long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts, represents Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications, and educates external customers (e.g., physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers) on product benefits.
Your Contributions:
- Drives product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management.
- Executes territory sales strategies to meet or exceed objectives via in-person and virtual communications.
- Identifies and addresses territory-specific opportunities and barriers to product success.
- Effectively manages promotional resources and budget.
- Builds and maintains relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community mental health clinics/LTC facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.
- Establishes communication with internal partners (managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, medical communications).
- Upholds high ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices.
- Maintains full field presence Monday–Friday (flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events).
Requirements:
- BS/BA in science (or related) + 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech or related experience; 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales highly desired. Close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred. Psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
OR
- Master’s in science (or related) + 2+ years similar experience.
Skills/Expertise (required/preferred):
- Healthcare regulatory knowledge; proven success meeting/exceeding sales objectives.
- Proficiency with sales platforms/BI tools (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva) and business systems; strong project management.
- Excellent communication (verbal/written) and account management; ability to navigate complex accounts.
- Must reside in the assigned territory; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
