About The Role
Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products. Manages and develops long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts in the assigned territory and represents Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications. Educates external customers (e.g., physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers) on product benefits.
Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
Sales and Market Development
- Drives product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management
- Executes territory sales strategies to meet or exceed objectives (in-person and virtual)
- Identifies and addresses territory-specific opportunities and barriers
- Manages promotional resources and budget
Customer Relationship Management
- Builds and maintains relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community clinics/long-term care, and local/regional payers/pharmacies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinates with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications
Professional Standards
- Upholds highest ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices; demonstrates integrity and compliance
Work Expectations
- Full field presence Monday–Friday; flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS/BA in science or related field AND minimum 4 years commercial pharma/biotech or related experience; 3+ years specialty pharma or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales highly desired; close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred; psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred
- OR Master’s in science or related field AND 2+ years of similar experience
Skills/Expertise (selected)
- Knowledge of best practices; understanding of healthcare regulatory/enforcement environments
- Proven sales objective/launch success in complex environments
- Leadership in cross-functional settings; strong project management and computer/business system skills
- Proficiency with sales platforms/business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva)
- Excellent written/verbal communication; ability to navigate complex accounts; understanding specialty fulfillment and payer requirements

- Reside within the assigned territory area
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (frequent driving)
