About The Role
- Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products.
- Manages and develops long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts in the assigned territory; represents Neurocrine brand(s) and their approved indications.
- Educates external customers (e.g., physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers) on product benefits.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Sales and Market Development
- Drives product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management.
- Executes territory sales strategies to meet or exceed objectives via in-person and virtual communications.
- Identifies and addresses territory-specific opportunities and barriers to product success.
- Manages promotional resources and budget.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Builds and maintains relationships with healthcare providers (Psychiatrists, Neurologists, NPs, PAs), clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs), key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community mental health clinics and long-term care facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinates with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
- Professional Standards
- Upholds ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and pharmaceutical industry best practices; demonstrates integrity and compliance.
- Work Expectations
- Maintains full field presence Monday–Friday; flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events.

Requirements
- BS/BA in science or related field AND minimum 4 years commercial pharma/biotech or related experience; 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales experience highly desired.
- Close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution experience strongly preferred.
- Psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
- OR Master’s degree in science or related field AND 2+ years similar experience.
- Job-specific: reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (frequent driving required).

Preferred/Key Skills
- Knowledge of best practices; understanding of healthcare regulatory/enforcement environments.
- Proven track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives and launch success.
- Leadership and ability to work on cross-functional teams.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency with business systems and sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva) and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent verbal/written communication; strong sales/account management disposition.
- Project management and analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to act with incomplete information.
