About The Role
Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products. Manages and develops long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts in the assigned territory, represents Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications, and educates external customers (physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, etc.) on benefits of product(s).
Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
Sales and Market Development:
- Drives product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management
- Executes territory sales strategies to meet or exceed objectives via in-person and virtual communications
- Identifies and addresses territory-specific opportunities and barriers to product success
- Manages promotional resources and budget
Customer Relationship Management:
- Builds and maintains relationships with: healthcare providers; clinical staff; key opinion leaders and advocacy groups; community mental health clinics and long-term care facilities; local/regional payers and pharmacies
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Communicates with internal partners including managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams
- Upholds highest ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices
Work Expectations:
- Full field presence Monday–Friday; flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BS/BA in science or related field AND 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech or related experience; 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales highly desired. Close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred. Psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred. OR
- Master’s in science or related field AND 2+ years similar experience
Skills/Expertise:
- Knowledge of best practices; strong regulatory understanding
- Proven sales objective/launch success in complex environments
- Leadership, cross-functional teamwork
- Strong computer skills; proficiency with sales platforms/BI tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva)
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong account management

- Reside within assigned territory geography
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
