About The Role
- Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products.
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts in the assigned territory.
- Represent Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications.
- Educate external customers (e.g., physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers) on benefits of products.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Sales & Market Development: drive product acceptance and growth via targeted education and strategic account management; execute territory sales strategies (in-person and virtual) to meet/exceed objectives; identify and address territory opportunities/barriers; manage promotional resources and budget.
- Customer Relationship Management: build/maintain relationships with healthcare providers (Psychiatrists, Neurologists, NPs, PAs), clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs), key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community mental health clinics and long-term care facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: communicate with internal partners including managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
- Professional Standards: uphold ethical standards and FDA guidelines; demonstrate integrity consistent with company values and compliance policies.
- Work Expectations: maintain full field presence Monday–Friday with flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events; other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Education/Experience: BS/BA in science or related field + minimum 4 years commercial pharma/biotech or related experience (including 3+ years specialty pharma or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales—highly desired); close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution—strongly preferred; Psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience—strongly preferred. OR Master’s in science or related field + 2+ years related experience.
- Professional Expertise: knowledge of best practices; strong healthcare regulatory understanding; proven track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives and launch success; ongoing improvement of tools/processes.
- Leadership & Teamwork; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Technical Skills: strong computer skills; proficiency with sales platforms/business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva); strong project management.
- Critical Thinking; excellent analytical problem-solving.
- Communication/Relationship Management: strong verbal/written communication; sales/account management disposition; navigate complex accounts and understand specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
- Personal Attributes: results-oriented, ethical, adaptable, deadline management, fast-paced performance, learner, entrepreneurial.
- Job-Specific: reside within assigned territory geography; valid driver’s license and clean driving record (frequent driving).
