About The Role
- Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products.
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts in the assigned territory; represent Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications.
- Educate external customers (e.g., physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers) on the benefits of product(s).
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
Sales and Market Development
- Drive product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management.
- Execute territory sales strategies (in-person and virtual) to meet/exceed objectives.
- Identify and address territory-specific opportunities and barriers.
- Manage promotional resources and budget.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders and advocacy groups, community mental health clinics and long-term care facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Communicate with internal partners (managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, medical communications).
Professional Standards
- Uphold highest ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices; demonstrate integrity and compliance.
Work Expectations
- Maintain full field presence Mon–Fri; flexible for occasional evening/weekend events.
Requirements
- BS/BA in science or related field AND 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech (3+ years specialty pharma or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales highly desired). Close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred; psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
OR
- Master’s in science or related field AND 2+ years relevant experience.
Professional Expertise & Skills
- Knowledge of best practices; healthcare regulatory/enforcement understanding.
- Proven sales objective attainment and launch success.
- Business systems/salesforce automation/business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva) and strong project management.
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and account navigation; strong sales/account management disposition.
- Results-oriented, ethical, adaptable, able to meet deadlines; entrepreneurial attitude.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
