About The Role
Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products. Manages and develops long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts in the assigned territory and represents Neurocrine brand(s) and their approved indications. Educates external customers (physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, etc.) on benefits of the products.

Your Contributions
Sales and Market Development
- Drives product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management
- Executes territory sales strategies to meet or exceed objectives via in-person and virtual communications
- Identifies and addresses territory-specific opportunities and barriers to product success
- Manages promotional resources and budget

Customer Relationship Management
- Builds and maintains relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community mental health clinics/long term care facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Communicates with internal partners (managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, medical communications)
- Upholds ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices

Work Expectations
- Full field presence Monday–Friday (occasional evening/weekend events)

Requirements
- BS/BA in science or related field AND 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech experience (3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales desired); close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred; psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred
- OR Master’s in science or related field AND 2+ years similar experience
- Strong healthcare regulatory knowledge; proven sales/launch success; leadership/teamwork; strong computer skills
- Proficiency with business systems/sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva)
- Reside within assigned territory; valid driver’s license and clean driving record
