About the Role
- Responsible for a specific geographic territory and successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products.
- Manage and develop long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts; represent Neurocrine brand(s) and approved indications.
- Educate external customers (physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, etc.) on benefits of products.
Your Contributions
- Drives product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management.
- Executes territory sales strategies to meet/exceed objectives (in-person and virtual).
- Identifies and addresses territory opportunities/barriers; manages promotional resources and budget.
- Builds relationships with healthcare providers (psych, neuro, NPs, PAs), clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs), key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community clinics/LTC, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.
- Collaborates with internal partners (managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, medical communications).
- Upholds highest ethical standards (including FDA guidelines and industry best practices).
- Maintains full field presence Monday–Friday; flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events; other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS/BA in science (or related) + 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech experience; 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, psychology, or neurology sales (highly desired). Close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred. Psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred.
- OR Master’s in science (or related) + 2+ years similar experience.
- Proficiency with business systems/sales platforms and business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva).
- Strong project management, analytical thinking, communication, and account navigation skills.
- Must reside within assigned territory; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
