Role Summary

Neurology Account Manager in San Francisco, CA. Associate Neurology Account Manager or Neurology Account Manager responsible for exceeding goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services within the neuroscience sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to respond to day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance and results to maximize appropriate use of the product in the defined territory.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory (budgets, time, etc.).
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems and processes.
  • Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet and comply with credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, facilities, and governing bodies.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and a clean driving history.
  • Self-starter with goal- and results-driven attitude; proven track record of above-average results.
  • Fortitude to compete and a hunter mentality.
  • Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory preferred.
  • Ability to travel (including overnights); potential out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and meetings.
  • Work hours may include meetings outside of normal working hours.
  • Must reside within territory geography.

Skills

  • Highly clinical, patient-centric, and tactical with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex markets and organizations.
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective selling and presentation skills; proficient in computer use.

Education

  • BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.

Additional Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driverโ€™s license and an acceptable driving record; able to operate a motor vehicle for local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.
