Role Summary

Neurology Account Manager or Associate Neurology Account Manager in Los Angeles, CA, responsible for delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services and exceeding established sales goals within the neuroscience portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate use of the product in the territory.
  • Maintain a high level of product, disease, competitive, and market reimbursement knowledge.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory.
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems.
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet reasonable credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Complete additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
  • Self-starter with goal- and results-driven mindset and a proven track record of above-average results.
  • Fortitude to sell and compete with a hunter mentality.
  • Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory preferred.
  • Ability to travel (may include overnights); travel to HQs, training, and sales meetings may be required.
  • Work hours may include meetings outside of normal working hours.
  • Must reside within the territory geography.

Skills

  • Highly clinical, patient-centric, and tactical with excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Ability to navigate complex markets and organizations.
  • Outstanding work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Dynamic, high-impact selling and presentation abilities; able to manage multiple priorities independently and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Customer-focused, self-motivated, and computer proficient.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.

Education

  • BS or BA required; GPA > 3.0.
