Role Summary

Neurology Account Manager for Los Angeles, CA. Responsible for exceeding goals by delivering value to customers through differentiated products and services within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
  • Analyze local market, develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate use of the product in the defined territory.
  • Maintain a high and current level of product, disease, competitive and market reimbursement knowledge.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory (budgets, time, etc.).
  • Communicate effectively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to identified target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Fulfill monitoring and reporting requirements including expenses and call reporting using approved systems and processes.
  • Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Participate in additional, ad-hoc projects as needed.

Education

  • BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.

Experience

  • Self-starter with goal and results-driven mindset and a proven track record of above-average results.
  • Ability to travel (may include overnights) and willingness for out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and meetings.
  • Residency within the territory geography.

Skills

  • Strong relationships and knowledge of the territory (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex markets and organizations.
  • High ethical standards, strong work ethic, and organizational skills.
  • Determination, resilience, and a hunter mentality.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to manage multiple priorities.
