Job Description: The NeuroCare Sales Specialist is a strategic, influential sales partner responsible for maximizing sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions.
How You’ll Spend Your Day (Essential Areas of Responsibility)
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff) at all levels.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet unique needs; drive product differentiation and achieve sales targets.
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges and collaborate internally to drive cohesive sales strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute sales strategies and achieve shared objectives.
- Maintain call average per sales plan with face-to-face interactions focused on top target customers.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the assigned region.
- Adhere to all Teva’s compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals, objectives, and required administrative duties for the territory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented B2B sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: managing complex healthcare accounts across Centers of Excellence, academic medical centers, integrated health systems, and multidisciplinary specialty practices.
- Preferred: experience with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement partners, and access stakeholders.
- Preferred: neurology, psychiatry, pediatric, rare disease, specialty therapeutics, or other complex disease states.
- Preferred: new product launch experience.
Skills/Abilities (Also Good to Have)
- Proven accomplishments in the specific market.
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing preferred.
- Candidate must pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
Travel/Location
- Regular travel (including air travel and weekend or overnight travel).
- Based in or near Tucson, Oro Valley, or Chandler.
