Essential Areas of Responsibility
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff)
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions to unique needs and driving product differentiation to achieve sales targets
- Review and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Address external market challenges while fostering internal collaboration to drive cohesive sales strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and achieve shared objectives
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face with HCPs focusing on top target customers)
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in assigned region/territory
- Adhere to all company compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales performance goals, reach objectives, and complete required administrative duties
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field)
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- Senior Sales Specialist: minimum 1 year; Executive Sales Specialist: minimum 7 years
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience managing complex healthcare accounts and multiple stakeholders across major healthcare settings
- Experience with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement and access stakeholders
- Neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics experience
- New product launch experience
- Proven market accomplishments; strong written/oral communication; HCP interaction in face-to-face/virtual settings; leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record
Travel: Regular travel, including possible weekend/overnight/air travel
