NeuroCare Sales Specialist (Territory: Syracuse/Utica/Ithaca, NY preferred)
Responsibilities
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff).
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-services.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships; tailor solutions to unique needs to drive differentiation and achieve sales targets.
- Regularly review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and effectively use promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges and collaborate internally to drive successful sales strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and execute sales strategies.
- Maintain call average per the sales plan (face-to-face with HCPs; focus on top target customers).
- Apply problem-solving and take calculated risks to improve regional performance.
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals, objectives, and complete administrative duties for the territory.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: managing complex healthcare accounts; engaging multiple stakeholders in COEs, academic medical centers, integrated health systems, multidisciplinary specialty practices.
- Preferred: collaboration with specialty pharmacies, patient support/reimbursement/access partners.
- Preferred: neurology, psychiatry, pediatric, rare disease, specialty therapeutics/complex disease states; new product launch experience.
- Proven accomplishments in market; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge preferred.
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record.
Travel
- Regular travel, including air and weekend/overnight travel.
