Essential Areas of Responsibility
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (e.g., HCPs and office staff).
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts to drive differentiation and achieve sales targets.
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and use promotional budget funds.
- Maintain a competitive edge by addressing external market challenges and collaborating internally.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and execute sales strategies.
- Maintain call average as outlined in the sales plan.
- Use traditional and nontraditional problem-solving to improve performance in the assigned region.
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals, objectives, and complete administrative duties.

Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
- Preferred: managing complex healthcare accounts across major care settings; collaborating with specialty pharmacies, patient support/reimbursement/access stakeholders.
- Preferred: experience in neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics/complex disease states.
- Preferred: new product launch experience (specialty/complex disease markets).
- Senior Sales Specialist: minimum 1 year; Executive Sales Specialist: minimum 7 years.

Skills/Requirements
- Proven accomplishments meeting objectives.
- Strong written/oral communication; leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing preferred.
- Pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Travel Requirements: Regular travel, including air and weekend/overnight.

Salary/Benefits (if applicable)
- Starting salary: $88,000–$160,000 annually.
- Sales incentive plan participation.
