The NeuroCare Sales Specialist is a strategic, influential sales partner responsible for maximizing sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions.
How Youโll Spend Your Day / Essential Responsibilities
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff)
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions to unique needs; drive differentiation and achieve sales targets
- Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Maintain a competitive edge by addressing market challenges and collaborating internally to drive successful sales strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and execute shared objectives
- Maintain call average as outlined in the sales plan (face-to-face interactions with top target customers)
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the assigned region
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales goals/objectives and complete required administrative duties for the territory
Ideal candidate location: San Francisco, Oakland, or San Mateo area.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience (Required/Preferred)
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related)
- Business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred
- Preferred: complex healthcare account management across Centers of Excellence/academic medical centers/integrated health systems
- Preferred: specialty pharmacy, patient support programs, reimbursement/access stakeholders
- Preferred: neurology, psychiatry, pediatric, rare disease, specialty therapeutics, or other complex disease states; new product launch experience
- Also good to have: proven accomplishments in market; strong written/oral communication; interact with HCPs face-to-face/virtual; leadership; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driverโs license
Travel: Regular travel (including air and weekend/overnight as needed).
Benefits/Compensation (if explicitly stated)
- Starting salary: $88,000โ$160,000 annually; eligibility for company sales incentive plan
