Essential Areas Of Responsibility:
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (e.g., HCPs and office staff).
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts; tailor solutions to meet unique needs; drive differentiation and achieve sales targets.
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges and foster collaboration internally to drive cohesive sales strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to execute sales strategies and achieve shared objectives.
- Maintain call average as outlined in the sales plan (face-to-face interactions with top target customers).
- Use traditional and nontraditional problem-solving to improve performance in assigned region.
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales performance goals, reach objectives, and complete administrative duties for the territory.
Education/Certification/Experience (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: managing complex healthcare accounts; engaging multiple stakeholders in specialty/academic/integrated systems.
- Preferred: specialty pharmacy, patient support programs, reimbursement/access partners.
- Preferred: neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics/complex disease states.
- Preferred: new product launch experience in specialty/complex disease markets.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Proven accomplishments meeting market objectives.
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs (face-to-face and virtual) and be proficient with technology.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge; therapeutic area experience.
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driverโs license with acceptable record.
Travel Requirements:
- Regular travel; may include air travel and weekend/overnight travel.
