Essential Areas of Responsibility:
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff).
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts; tailor solutions to meet unique needs; leverage insights to drive differentiation and sales targets.
- Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and use promotional budget.
- Maintain competitiveness by addressing external market challenges; collaborate internally on cohesive sales strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and execute shared objectives.
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face with top target customers).
- Use problem-solving to improve performance in assigned geography/region.
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals and complete required administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience (pharmaceutical sales preferred).
- Preferred: complex healthcare account management; experience with specialty pharmacies/access/reimbursement support; neurology/psychiatry/pediatric/rare disease/specialty therapeutics; new product launch.
Skills/Abilities:
- Proven market accomplishments; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs (face-to-face and virtual) and use technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge preferred.
- Pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driverβs license.
