The NeuroCare Sales Specialist is responsible for maximizing sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. Key focus includes launching a potential first-in-class Tourette Syndrome treatment and establishing Teva’s presence in a new therapeutic market.
Responsibilities:
- Build rapport and relationships with HCPs, office staff, and cross-functional partners.
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians/nurses/medical office staff to promote products and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts; tailor solutions to meet needs and achieve sales targets.
- Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address market challenges and collaborate internally to drive sales strategies.
- Maintain call average per sales plan with face-to-face interactions targeting top customers.
- Take calculated risks and solve problems to improve performance in assigned region.
- Adhere to all compliance policies.
- Achieve sales goals, objectives, and complete required administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: complex account management across major healthcare systems; experience with specialty pharmacies/patient support/reimbursement/access stakeholders; neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics; new product launch experience.
- Experience level: Senior Sales Specialist (min 1 year) or Executive Sales Specialist (min 7 years).
Skills:
- Proven accomplishments; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge preferred.
- Pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driver’s license.
Travel: Regular travel, including air and weekend/overnight as needed.
Compensation/Benefits: Starting salary $88,000–$160,000; qualifies for sales incentive plan. Benefits include medical/dental/vision/prescription (from day 1 upon enrollment), 401(k) match and defined contribution, paid time off, company-paid life/disability, and additional listed benefits.
