How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff)
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions to unique needs, driving differentiation, and achieving sales targets
- Regularly review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Address external market challenges while collaborating internally to execute cohesive sales strategies
- Proactively integrate cross-functional expertise to achieve shared objectives
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face with HCPs, focusing on top target customers)
- Use traditional and nontraditional problem-solving to improve performance in assigned region
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales goals, reach objectives, and complete required administrative duties

Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related)
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred
- Preferred: experience managing complex healthcare accounts/stakeholders; working with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement/access stakeholders
- Preferred: experience in neurology, psychiatry, pediatric, rare disease, specialty therapeutics, or other complex disease states
- Preferred: new product launch experience (specialty pharma/complex disease)
- Minimum experience: Senior Sales Specialist 1 year; Executive Sales Specialist 7 years (based on level)
- Also good to have: proven market accomplishments; strong written/oral communication; ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually and use technology; leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge; ability to pass background/motor/drug screening; valid US driver’s license

Travel Requirements
- Regular travel, including possible air travel and weekend/overnight travel
