Essential Areas Of Responsibility:
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff) at all levels.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing to current and potential customers.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions, leveraging industry insights, and achieving sales targets.
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Maintain a competitive edge by addressing external market challenges and collaborating internally to drive cohesive sales strategies.
- Proactively work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and achieve shared objectives.
- Maintain a call average per the sales plan with face-to-face interactions focused on top target customers.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the assigned region.
- Adhere to all Teva compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals, reach objectives, and complete administrative duties for the territory.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: experience with complex healthcare accounts/stakeholders; specialty pharmacy/patient support/reimbursement/access partners.
- Preferred: neurology, psychiatry, pediatric, rare disease, specialty therapeutics, complex disease states; new product launch experience.
- Senior Sales Specialist: minimum 1 year; Executive Sales Specialist: minimum 7 years (level commensurate with experience).
Skills/Abilities (required/preferred):
- Proven accomplishments in the specific market; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge preferred.
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record required.
Travel Requirements:
- Regular travel, including air travel and weekend/overnight travel.
