ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff).
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions to unique needs, driving differentiation, and achieving sales targets.
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges while collaborating internally to drive successful sales strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and ensure cohesive sales execution.
- Maintain call average per the sales plan (face-to-face interactions with top target customers).
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the assigned geography.
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals/objectives and complete all administrative duties for the territory.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: managing complex healthcare accounts; engaging multiple stakeholders across major healthcare settings.
- Preferred: experience with specialty pharmacies, patient support/reimbursement/access stakeholders.
- Preferred: neurology/psychiatry/pediatric/rare disease/specialty therapeutics or other complex disease states.
- Preferred: new product launch experience.
- Senior Sales Specialist: minimum 1 year; Executive Sales Specialist: minimum 7 years.
- Proven accomplishments; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge preferred.
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record required.
TRAVEL
- Regular travel (may include air, weekend, and overnight).
