Essential Areas of Responsibility
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCP and office staff) at all levels.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet needs, leveraging industry insights, and achieving sales targets.
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges while fostering internal collaboration to drive sales strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution and shared objectives.
- Maintain call average per the sales plan (face-to-face interactions with top target customers).
- Use traditional and nontraditional problem-solving to improve performance in the assigned region.
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales performance goals and complete all administrative duties.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelorโs degree (preferably related field).
- Documented B2B sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: managing complex healthcare accounts/stakeholders; collaborating with specialty pharmacies, patient support/reimbursement/access stakeholders.
- Preferred: experience in neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics/complex disease states.
- Preferred: new product launch experience.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Proven market accomplishments; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficiency with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing preferred.
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record.
Travel Requirements
- Regular travel, including potential air, weekend, and overnight travel.
