Responsibilities (Essential):
- Build rapport and relationships with healthcare providers (HCPs), office staff, and cross-functional partners.
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing.
- Promote product and provide product/patient education with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff.
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts; tailor solutions to achieve sales targets.
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and use promotional budget funds.
- Maintain a competitive edge and collaborate internally to execute cohesive sales strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and achieve shared objectives.
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face with top target customers).
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in assigned region.
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals/objectives and complete required administrative duties.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: managing complex healthcare accounts across large systems/specialty practices; working with specialty pharmacies/patient support/reimbursement/access stakeholders.
- Preferred: neurology/psychiatry/pediatric/rare disease/specialty therapeutics or other complex disease states.
- Preferred: new product launch experience.
- Senior Sales Specialist: 1+ year; Executive Sales Specialist: 7+ years (commensurate with level).
Skills/Requirements:
- Proven accomplishments in the market; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge preferred.
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record.
Travel: Regular travel, including possible air, weekend, and overnight.
Benefits/Pay (as stated):
- Starting salary range: $88,000โ$160,000 annually; eligible for sales incentive plan.
