Responsibilities:
- Build rapport and relationships with healthcare providers, office staff, internal partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts; tailor solutions to achieve sales targets.
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and use promotional budget funds.
- Maintain call average as outlined in the sales plan.
- Address external market challenges, collaborate internally, and execute cohesive sales strategies.
- Proactively work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and meet shared objectives.
- Adhere to compliance policies; achieve sales performance goals and complete administrative duties.
Qualifications (Education/Experience):
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
- Preferred: experience with complex healthcare accounts/stakeholders; Centers of Excellence/academic medical centers/integrated health systems.
- Preferred: collaboration with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement/access stakeholders.
- Preferred: neurology/psychiatry/pediatric/rare disease/specialty therapeutics; new product launch experience.
- Role level: Senior Sales Specialist (min 1 year) or Executive Sales Specialist (min 7 years).
Skills/Requirements:
- Proven accomplishments; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge preferred.
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record.
Travel: Regular travel, incl. air and weekend/overnight.
