The NeuroCare Sales Specialist is a strategic, influential sales partner responsible for maximizing sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Build rapport and relationships with HCPs and office staff at all levels.
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts by tailoring solutions, driving differentiation, and achieving sales targets.
- Review, analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges while collaborating internally to drive cohesive sales strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to execute sales strategies and shared objectives.
- Maintain call average as outlined in the sales plan with face-to-face interactions focused on top target customers.
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the assigned region.
- Adhere to compliance policies and achieve sales and administrative objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: experience managing complex healthcare accounts; engaging multiple stakeholders (COEs, academic medical centers, integrated health systems, specialty practices).
- Preferred: collaboration with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement/access stakeholders.
- Preferred: neurology/psychiatry/pediatric/rare disease/specialty therapeutics or other complex disease-state experience.
- Preferred: new product launch experience.
Skills/Abilities (required/preferred):
- Proven accomplishments toward objectives; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driverโs license.
Location/Travel:
- Based in or near Hartford, Waterbury, or New Haven; regular travel.
Compensation/Benefits (explicitly stated):
- Starting salary: $88,000โ$160,000.
- Eligible for sales incentive plan.
