ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff)
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships; tailor solutions to drive differentiation and achieve sales targets
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Address external market challenges and collaborate internally to execute successful sales strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and achieve shared objectives
- Maintain required call average with HCPs on top target customers
- Use problem-solving approaches to improve performance in the assigned region
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales goals/objectives and complete administrative duties for the territory
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelorβs degree required (preferably related)
- Documented B2B sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred
- Preferred: complex healthcare account management across COEs/academic medical centers/integrated health systems; managing multiple stakeholders
- Preferred: experience with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement/access stakeholders
- Preferred: neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics or other complex disease states
- Preferred: new product launch experience (specialty/complex markets)
- Senior Sales Specialist: 1+ year; Executive Sales Specialist: 7+ years
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Proven market accomplishments; strong written/oral communication
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care knowledge preferred
- Ability to pass background/motor/drug screening; valid US driverβs license
TRAVEL
- Regular travel, including air and weekend/overnight travel
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS (as stated)
- Starting salary: $88,000β$160,000; eligibility for sales incentive plan
- Comprehensive health insurance (medical/dental/vision/prescription), 401(k) match (up to 6%) and 3.75% defined contribution, paid time off, company-paid life/disability, and additional listed benefits
