Essential Responsibilities:
- Build rapport with HCPs and staff; interact effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians/nurses/office staff; promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage/grow key accounts; tailor solutions to achieve sales targets.
- Analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges and collaborate internally to drive sales strategy.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute sales strategies.
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face with top target customers).
- Use traditional/nontraditional problem-solving to improve performance in assigned region.
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals/objectives and complete required administrative duties.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelorโs degree (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: experience managing complex healthcare accounts across major care settings; collaborating with specialty pharmacies and patient support/reimbursement/access stakeholders.
- Preferred: neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics or other complex disease states.
- Preferred: new product launch experience.
Skills/Abilities (required unless noted):
- Proven accomplishments in meeting objectives; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing.
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driverโs license with acceptable driving record.
Travel: Regular travel, including air and weekend/overnight.
Pay/Benefits (as stated): Starting salary $88,000โ$160,000; eligibility for sales incentive plan.
