Essential Areas of Responsibility:
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff)
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships; tailor solutions to meet unique needs, drive differentiation, and achieve sales targets
- Review and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Maintain a competitive edge by addressing external market challenges and collaborating internally to execute cohesive sales strategies
- Proactively work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and achieve shared objectives
- Maintain required call average (face-to-face interactions with top target customers)
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in the assigned region
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales performance goals and complete administrative duties for the territory

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required (preferably related field)
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- Preferred: managing complex healthcare accounts; engaging multiple stakeholders; specialty pharmacy/patient support/reimbursement/access experience
- Preferred: experience in neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics or other complex disease states
- Preferred: new product launch experience

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities (required/preferred):
- Proven accomplishments toward meeting objectives; strong written/oral communication
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology
- Demonstrated leadership/interpersonal skills
- Preferred: knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing; broad therapeutic area experience
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening
- Valid US driverโ€™s license and acceptable driving record

Travel:
- Regular travel; may include air travel and weekend/overnight travel

Salary/Benefits:
- Annual starting salary: $88,000โ€“$160,000
- Participation in company sales incentive plan
