The NeuroCare Sales Specialist is a strategic sales partner responsible for maximizing sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions.
Essential Areas of Responsibility
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (e.g., HCPs and office staff)
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships to tailor solutions and drive differentiation and sales targets
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
- Address external market challenges and collaborate internally to drive sales strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution and shared objectives
- Maintain call average as outlined in the sales plan (face-to-face interactions with top target customers)
- Solve issues using traditional and nontraditional techniques to improve performance in the assigned region
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines
- Achieve sales goals/objectives and complete administrative duties
Qualifications / Required
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field)
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred
- Senior Sales Specialist: 1+ year (minimum); Executive Sales Specialist: 7+ years (minimum)
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Managing complex healthcare accounts and multiple stakeholders in specialty/academic/integrated systems
- Experience with specialty pharmacies, patient support, reimbursement and access stakeholders
- Neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics; new product launch experience
- Written/oral communication skills; leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge
Travel Requirements
- Regular travel, including possible air and weekend/overnight travel
