ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff) at all levels.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key account relationships by tailoring solutions to customer needs; drive differentiation and achieve sales targets.
- Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges while fostering internal collaboration to execute successful sales strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and achieve shared objectives.
- Maintain required call average per sales plan (face-to-face with HCPs, focusing on top targets).
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in assigned geography/region.
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales performance goals and complete all administrative duties.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: experience managing complex healthcare accounts and multiple stakeholders across large healthcare systems/specialty practices.
- Preferred: experience with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement/access stakeholders.
- Preferred: neurology, psychiatry, pediatric, rare disease, specialty therapeutics, or complex disease states.
- Preferred: new product launch experience in specialty/complex disease state markets.
- Senior Sales Specialist: minimum 1 year; Executive Sales Specialist: minimum 7 years.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Proven accomplishments in relevant market; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge preferred.
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

TRAVEL
- Regular travel; may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel.

BENEFITS/COMPENSATION
- Annual starting salary: $88,000–$160,000; eligibility for the company sales incentive plan.
