Job Title: NeuroCare Sales Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff) at all levels.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product and patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to their needs; use industry insights to differentiate and achieve sales targets.
- Regularly review, seek out, and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges while collaborating internally to execute successful sales strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and execute sales strategies and objectives.
- Maintain call average as outlined in the sales plan (face-to-face interactions with top target customers).
- Use traditional and nontraditional problem-solving to improve performance in the assigned region.
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales performance goals and complete required administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
- Preferred: experience managing complex healthcare accounts and engaging multiple stakeholders (COEs, academic medical centers, integrated health systems, multidisciplinary specialty practices).
- Preferred: collaboration with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement partners, and access stakeholders.
- Preferred: experience in neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics or other complex disease states.
- Preferred: new product launch experience in specialty or complex disease markets.
Skills (also good to have):
- Proven market accomplishments; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs (face-to-face/virtual) and be proficient with technology.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge preferred.
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driver’s license.
Travel:
- Regular travel, including possible air, weekend, and overnight travel.
Benefits/Compensation:
- Annual starting salary range: $88,000–$160,000.
- Eligible for the company’s sales incentive plan.
