Responsibilities:
- Build rapport and relationships with HCPs and office staff, regional team members, and cross-functional partners.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing to current and potential customers.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts to drive product differentiation and achieve sales targets.
- Review and analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges and collaborate internally to drive successful sales strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and execute sales strategies.
- Maintain call average per sales plan (face-to-face interactions with top target customers).
- Use problem-solving to improve performance in assigned geography/region.
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals, reach objectives, and complete administrative duties for the territory.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: managing complex healthcare accounts across large academic/integrated systems and multi-stakeholder practices.
- Preferred: experience with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement/access stakeholders.
- Preferred: experience in neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics or other complex disease states.
- Preferred: new product launch experience in specialty/complex disease markets.
- Proven accomplishments in the specific market; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing preferred.
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid US driverโs license and acceptable driving record.
Travel: Regular travel; may include air and weekend/overnight travel.
