Essential Areas of Responsibility:
- Build rapport and relationships with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (HCPs and office staff).
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow key accounts; tailor solutions to drive differentiation and achieve sales targets.
- Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges; collaborate internally to execute cohesive sales strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and achieve shared objectives.
- Maintain call average per sales plan; focus on top target customers.
- Use problem-solving techniques to improve performance in assigned region.
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals and complete administrative duties for the territory.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree required (preferably related).
- Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: experience with complex healthcare accounts/stakeholders; Centers of Excellence/academic medical centers/integrated health systems/specialty practices.
- Preferred: specialty pharmacy/patient support/reimbursement/access stakeholder collaboration.
- Preferred: neurology/psychiatry/pediatric/rare disease/specialty therapeutics/complex disease states; new product launch experience.
Skills/Requirements:
- Proven market accomplishments; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Leadership/interpersonal skills; reimbursement/managed care/marketing knowledge preferred.
- Must pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driverβs license.
Travel: Regular travel, incl. air and weekend/overnight as needed.
Salary & Incentive: $88,000β$160,000 starting range; qualifies for sales incentive plan.
