Essential Areas of Responsibility:
- Build rapport and relationships with HCPs, office staff, and cross-functional partners.
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
- Manage and grow key accounts by tailoring solutions, differentiating products, and achieving sales targets.
- Review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and use promotional budget funds.
- Address external market challenges and collaborate internally to drive cohesive sales strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate insights and execute shared objectives.
- Maintain call average per sales plan via face-to-face interactions with top target customers.
- Use problem-solving to improve performance in assigned region.
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve sales goals/objectives and complete required administrative duties.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelorโs degree required (preferably related field).
- Documented B2B sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
- Preferred: managing complex healthcare accounts; experience with specialty pharmacies/patient support/reimbursement/access stakeholders.
- Preferred: neurology/psychiatry/pediatrics/rare disease/specialty therapeutics or complex disease states.
- New product launch experience preferred.
- Senior Sales Specialist: min 1 year; Executive Sales Specialist: min 7 years.
Skills/Abilities (required/preferred):
- Proven accomplishments meeting objectives; strong written/oral communication.
- Ability to interact with HCPs face-to-face and virtually; proficient with technology.
- Demonstrated leadership; knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing preferred.
- Pass background, motor, and drug screening; valid US driverโs license.
Travel: Regular travel including possible overnight/weekend.
Salary/Incentives: $88,000โ$160,000; qualifies for sales incentive plan.
